FOUNDER OF DR. PHAM VAN SY GENERAL DENTISTRY
Sy Van Pham, DDS (Retiring)
Dr. Pham Van Sy was born & raised in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. He completed his Dental Surgery degree from the University of Saigon in 1975. He came to the United States after the Vietnam War in 1975 as a refugee. Dr. Pham moved to Houston, TX, took refresher courses at the University of Texas School of Dentistry & worked simultaneously as a dental lab technician for 3 years. He officially started practicing as a general dentist in 1980 on Crawford Street in Downtown, Houston helping the Vietnamese community along the way. In 1983, he drove past a beautiful red roof building, took a leap of faith, & converted the 1950’s home into one of the first Vietnamese-owned dental practices in Houston, TX. He has been practicing for over 40 years, building relationships & treating generations of friends & family. He’s ready to retire & pass on the office & traditions to his daughter, Dr. Diana Mai Tram Pham. You will still see him at the office enjoying lab work & often playing music on the weekends.

Patricia My Bui
Mrs. Patricia Bui was born in Ha Nam & raised in Saigon, Vietnam. She came to the United States in 1979. She studied accounting in Virginia in 1979 and moved to Houston, TX in 1982 where she started her long career in the police department. She was one of the first bilingual, Vietnamese female 911 dispatchers for Harris County from 1986 to 2018. She retired with over 33 years dedicated to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department. She now spends her retirement helping at our dental office fostering relationships with our patients & greeting everyone with a smile. On her free time, she enjoys gardening, singing, & spending time with her 4 grandchildren.
DENTAL ASSISTSANT
Lizeth Jaisingh, RDA
Lizeth was born & raised in Lima, Peru. She studied & graduated with a dental surgery degree from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in 2010. She moved to the United States in 2009 & started working & earning multiple certificates as a registered dental assistant in Houston, Texas. She has worked as an RDA in multiple offices around Houston for the last 10+ years. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing while also helping & assisting at our office. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter & husband, traveling, & trying spicy foods.
She speaks fluent Spanish. She is patient, warm, & caring. Her goal is to help make the patients feel comfortable & happy.
